QTIBIPOC Zoom hang out
A monthly zoom hang out for Black and Brown trans and non binary, people of the global majority* to connect, share experiences and advice
We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 8pm.
*global majority is a collective term that refers to people who are black, asian, dual heritage, or indigenous to the global South. These groups represent 80% of the worlds population. The Cambridge dictionary describes people of the global majority as the group of people in the world who do not consider themselves, and are not considered to be white.
Our meetings are via zoom to keep them accessible to people who may not feel comfortable meeting in person, and are open for anyone to join from around the world.
The group is open to any person of colour across the gender spectrum - trans men, non binary people, trans women, trans masculine, transfeminine, questioning or othwerise who feel they may benefit from sharing this space.

Tired of being the only queer, Black, trans person in the room I created this group as a way of celebrating ourselves, and to see what we can learn from eachother when we are ‘not the only ones’ in the room.
