For a lot of us it was a battle just to get to a place where we could start loving ourselves just a little bit. That’s why the past few months seeing communities joining together to dismantle the seeds of systemic racism ( Black lives matter) , of oppression, and transphobic narratives ( opposing the suggested roll back of trans rights in the Gender recognition Act) basic rights we’ve been battling against and for all our lives is so important right now.
It’s sometimes hard to articulate just how much it means that despite everything we are all still here fighting for the good stuff. Those of us who are just too tired to fight, we’ll use our voices to shout even louder for you. Let’s celebrate who we are and support each other
